About

I’ve always been a “people person”, but I didn’t wake up one day and decide to be a coach!

I have an extensive background in organisational learning and development with degrees in Psychology (BA) and Organisational Behavior (PhD). After completing my doctorate in the USA, I worked for a top-tier global leadership development firm, where I developed further depth and breadth through practical experience as a leadership development consultant.  I have deep expertise across the field, from assessment to 360 degree feedback, to stand-up facilitation and training, to executive coaching.

Since those early days, I have lived in five countries and worked in many more. I have partnered with clients of all sizes, from start-ups to global multi-nationals, and I’ve worked across diverse industries from banking to energy to hospitality to healthcare. Traveling and exposure to different ways of thinking, working, and being is delightful and thrilling. It can also be bewildering and confronting! My experiences living and working around the globe have deepened my genuine interest and curiosity in people and how they interact and work together to achieve success and create impact. I hope my personal and professional interactions always reflect this interest, curiosity, and empathy.

In addition to travel, I delight in:

  • spending quality time with my Kiwi husband and two wonderful daughters
  • cooking dishes of all genres (although I’m accused of never following a recipe!)
  • drinking beautiful wines with family and friends
  • performing in local plays and musicals
  • reading great books
  • keeping one foot in the academic world through a continued interest in developments in the field and through teaching leadership courses at the MBA level when I can

Like diverse destinations on a map, or fine wines from different regions… like the variety of flavours in a dish, or the different characters in a play… I delight in the diversity and uniqueness of the clients I support as they learn, grow, and develop.

Doing the work I do is a true privilege!
