Rebecca specialises in facilitating the growth, change and development of individual leaders, their teams, and the broader set of employees within the organisation. Rebecca’s home base is on the north island of New Zealand, but she delights in working with clients across the country, in Australia, and beyond.
For the Leader
Target growth in specific leadership skills with one-on-one tailored coaching backed by Rebecca’s expert insight, guidance and leadership content.
Executive Coaching
Executive leadership coaching is a partnership focused on your growth, development, and success as a leader. Each leader’s journey is unique, so I tailor my approach to your unique needs and aspirations. Together, we pinpoint strengths, address challenges, and develop your skills to enhance your leadership style, presence, and effectiveness.
My coaching clients are experienced or emerging leaders who are highly motivated and are excited about challenging themselves to learn and grow. They are smart and capable, and when given the space to reflect, strategize, practice, and plan, they are the best people to tackle and solve their own challenges!
With some initial feedback from either select stakeholders or personality inventories, we’ll create insight and target a few key focus areas for our work together. With a customized plan and the support of key stakeholders, we’ll work together over a number of months to enhance your personal insight, address your immediate challenges, and build skills for sustained success.
We start with the end in mind and then figure out how to get there together. We create a plan but allow enough flexibility to work on your leadership challenges as they arise. We grow your capacity to lead with clear goals, conscious choices and effective action.
For the Team
Whether in half- or full-day team workshops, or more systematically as your team’s coach, Rebecca holds space for the most important conversations within teams.
Team Facilitation
Leadership team workshops that address your team’s specific challenges in a targeted way to drive insight, collaboration, and tangible progress.
If your leadership team needs to take some time out to work on specific team performance challenges and concrete business issues, let’s work together to uncover your unique context and specific team needs.
I develop content and activities that allow the team to actively work on and improve team structure, systems, processes, or dynamics. Whether it’s getting clear on team purpose, improving psychological safety, discussing talent, creating collaboration, or working through more specific business or strategy topics, my aim in facilitating your team workshop or offsite is to make progress on real challenges on the day, and create commitment to change beyond the day.
Ropes courses and beach clean-ups are fun and can build team camaraderie, but I prefer to work with teams on specific and strategic challenges that are impacting business success. I will work up-front to understand your team’s strengths and development areas in order to design an event where problem-solving and progress happen in the moment.
Team Coaching
Move your team from functional to high performing by approaching team development as a journey rather than an event. Rebecca applies coaching principals and practices, working with your team to co-create significant change and impact.
Teams who are serious about moving from functional to high performing invite me to help them push beyond the model of team learning as discrete or one-off events.
Team coaching is a journey involving shorter, sharper sessions held at more frequent intervals. A key question of interest is, “what can you achieve collectively as a team that you cannot achieve by working as individuals?”.
As your team coach, I work with you as a partner and enabler — less as the ‘expert’ coming in to solve your problems or deliver pre-specified outcomes. We work and experiment together to impact both team process and team outcomes.
By investing in a team learning journey that involves more frequent interactions over a longer period of time, it is possible to build the capability of both individual team members and the team as a whole, creating breakthroughs in team performance.
Team coaching is relatively new on the scene and is not right for every team. If you’re interested in learning more, I’m happy to discuss the possibilities and practicalities.
For the Staff
Provide individuals in your organisation with tried and true training content developed to inspire and up-skill current or emerging leaders in critical leadership areas.
Workplace Training
Provide staff with an understanding of leadership principles and promote development of the key skills needed to effectively manage and lead others.
Workplace training events are targeted to groups of staff who will benefit from enhanced understanding and skill-building around essential leadership areas. Staff attending these sessions tend to be at similar leadership levels within the organisation (e.g., emerging leaders or mid-level leaders) and content is targeted to their level.
I’m not a huge fan of “off-the-shelf” content, so you won’t find a lot of pre-baked, cookie-cutter material on offer. That doesn’t mean I reinvent the wheel for each new opportunity! Some clients want me to help them scale learning and development training beyond a single team or event. I draw on decades of tried-and-true exercises and activities to create and roll-out training programmes for mixed employee groups. I am happy to work with you to identify and understand the learning and development needs of your stakeholder groups, and tailor content that is relevant, engaging, and impactful.
There is a lot of great training material out there! Indeed, more and more organisations are turning to online learning for leadership basics. What sets my workplace training apart is an engaging and relatable style, an ability to be flexible and responsive to learners’ needs, and a willingness to pivot as needed in the moment.

Leadership Impact Talks
Bring best practices, cutting-edge research, and current thinking in the areas of leadership, teams, and development to your workplace audience. These talks are like food for your brain and they are sure to engage, encourage reflection, and inspire action!
Brain Food Impact Series
Sometimes your organisation wants a more bite-sized hit of leadership! The “Brain Food Series” has been developed as a series of short ‘Ted-Talk’ style talks that bring you best practices, cutting edge research, and current thinking around leadership, teams, and learning to get your audience engaged, reflective and inspired. These one-hour talks can be extended to include an optional “Break-Through Lab” where individuals can more actively apply concepts and plan to take action.
My Coaching Philosophy
Coaching, to me, is a dynamic learning journey—an experience less about fixing and more about unleashing an individual’s peak performance. I often tell my clients, “this stuff is NOT rocket science!”, but as leaders in a whirlwind of deadlines, we often neglect to pause, seek feedback, reflect, and experiment with fresh approaches for success. My mission? To carve out a space where you can process, practice, and plan.
Think of me as your “loving critic”—someone who cares profoundly but isn’t afraid to challenge directly. Throughout our collaboration, I prioritize listening and posing thought-provoking questions. As your coach, I’m not just a sounding board; I’m your thinking partner, practice companion, learning facilitator, and accountability ally. I genuinely believe in your potential to develop and grow as a leader, and I’m here to prove that coaching can be not only transformative but also enjoyable, insightful, and fun.
